I went to a field trip, organized by icddr,b, to the Health and Demographic Surveillance Systems (HDSS) site in Matlab, Chandpur, with the fourth-year Applied Statistics students. The trip was a key part of their Research Methodology and Social Statistics course, which I taught last year.

My third-year students and I, along with two of my colleagues, went on a field trip to BARI and BRRI in Gazipur for my course AST 301: Design and Analysis of Experiments II. The students observed real-life implementations of CRD, RCBD, and Split-plot designs. The trip was both enjoyable and effective.
